Quoting *Demon Llama*:" Which one is a better choice? I haven't bought a car seat or stroller yet and I don't know which is a better choice money-wise. Thoughts?"
Quoting Breanna(TITSORGTFO):" both, lol. A carrier carseat is nice when your bubs is tiny and sleeps all the time, and the convertible you'll need passed 2 so I say both. "
Quoting Clk:" We have yet to use a stroller. We wore our daughter until she could walk well, then we taught her to ... [snip!] ... few months down the road. In the long run we save money that way, plus our daughter didn't have to get use to a new carseat."
Quoting Brittany Pilgreen:" This is what we did. we had a stroller and i think we have used it maybe 5 times in the last 18 months. ... [snip!] ... son till he was too heavy for the shoulder carrier. and then when he was walking we just have him walk with us. he does great. "
Quoting *Demon Llama*:" Can an infant go in a convertible car seat? I feel stupid for asking but I have no idea. A see infant car seats and convertible car seats and I have no idea what to do."Yes an infant can go into a convertible carseat. Our daughter was born at 8 pounds 7 oz and fit into her convertible carseat just fine. Just had to adjust the head piece and straps for her size first.
Quoting Clk:" We didn't even buy her a stroller, her Aunts did as a surprise when she was ten months old. We had even ... [snip!] ... wanted to go back to me for the rest of the visit. That stroller is at her Grandmas, just in case, she has yet to use it. ;)"
