1 year ago today

1 year ago today is the day BD threw his hissy fit because my car broke down (and we nearly ended up in a car accident because of it) and I couldn't bring LO down to visit him. He didn't even care that we'd almost just been in a car accident or that we could've possibly been hurt or that we'd just been down to visit the day before...all he cared about was that everyone else around him was getting to show off their kids and he didn't. Tomorrow will mark 1 year of no contact with him what so ever!!!!!!!!!!! Its been the best year of mine and LO's life. My LO has 2 awesome "daddy"s and an idiot who donated the sperm. DH and LO cuddled on the couch this morning watching 101 Dalmations and later we're gonna call my best friend/roommate and let her talk to her "Daddy" Robbie. I'm very grateful for the awesome males in my daughter's life who have stepped up to be her dad.

I'm happy too. I didn't even fully realize how stressed out he was making me until I no longer had to deal with him. OMG it feels smurfing amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DH and I may be seperating next year but at least I know I'll never have to deal with him not wanting to spend time with the kids. He's already seeing about getting leave for father's day next year and talking about taking both of the kids for the day if he does get leave. Its weird how someone who won't be married to me anymore and has no biological claim on my daughter still claims her as his.

Well they seem to be rare but they are out there. I hope you can find one too.
