quick question, Im 37 weeks and 6 days pregnant. For the past couple of days when i have gone to the bathroom i noticed this greenish yellow thick discharge. Not everytime i go to the bathroom, butonce or twiceout of the day. Could i be losing my mucus plug even though it doesnt have a streak of blood in it?

Green/Yellow discharge is a sign of an infection. Your Mucous plug should not be that color.... I would call your doctor.

Err... mucus plugs aren't that color. Probably time to call the doctor...

my mucus plug was a yellowish white color >.> green may not be a good thing of corse my friend had a tiny bit of green near the end of looseing her plug but only a tiny bit

it the mucus plug i asked my doc and we checked for infection and nothing and the blood could be from ur cervix dialting thats what my doc said but i would all to ask!

My mucous plug was of a snot consistency and had kinda of a green/ yellow tint to it so there is a possiblitly! just ask your dr to check fo you!

***Update**
I went to the doctor today. Turns out that it was an infection. A yeast infection. I didnt even think that could be it but thanks for the help. She checked my cervix and said that its soft but still closed. and the baby's head is at -2 station. I dont know that means. Can someone explain?

My mucus plug was pinkish. I'm glad you went to the doctors and found out what it was, hope it goes away fast!
