Quoting Jampaulham:“ I feel full all the time too. I'm only nine weeks, and sometimes I have to drink cokes to settle my tummy. ... [snip!] ... know that isn't the greatest for the baby, but I figure it is better that I do that so I can eat rather than not eating at all.”
Quoting xXLiL MaMaXx:“ I've recently just started feeling like that.. maybe around my 30th week my appetite just dissappeared.. ... [snip!] ... said that its fine at this point as long as I force myself to eat and keep hydrated.. its not fun but you gotta do it for baby”
Quoting fierce:“ I actually asked my dr about this when I saw him yesterday and he said it is because the stomach doesn't ... [snip!] ... normal and that I shouldn't force myself to eat unless I get to the point where I'm feeling faint and/or weak from not eating.”
Quoting Excited_Mommy_Alisa:“ REALLY??? thats a relief!!! i mean i crave like ice because i want something cold and refreshing, ... [snip!] ... cold and refreshing, but i dont wanna eat food, it just UGHHH.. i already feel like im going to pop without even eating....”
Quoting CuteMissCoco:“ I'm sorry your going thru this.. Boy can I relate.. I have had hyperemisis with each pregnancy now!!! ... [snip!] ... month... Anyways I feel your pain and I hope that it gets a little more manageable for you... the sooner the better.. ”
Quoting Excited_Mommy_Alisa:“ So your doc said to force feed yourself anyways?? cause when i am i end up blowing chunks sorry if thats tmi. But i do... and its painful and no fun and then i just get worse. and swell.”so many people told me to force feed myself and even if I threw up after every meal to keep eating. But to me that was torture and I know that vomiting constantly is no good for the stomach, esophagus, or the mouth and teeth, and can cause further dehydration so I ignored these people and just listened to my body. I took in as many fluids as possible but never forced myself to eat, and I am doing fine!
