Sometimes i feel that i cant even eat, and if i did i wouldnt be able to breathe. Then on school days if i feel like i will die if i dont eat anything. So i jsut have to grab a snickers bar and eat it in between classes to even be able to think. If i dont eat at that point i feel really sick and run down. However when im home i dont want to eat anything after lunch. Dealing with heartburn major and difficultly breathing i need 8 hours to digest my lunch, but my mom wont let me skip dinner. Then i just over eat and feel totally worse.

I'm the same way. Just try to eat something small. I eat a little throughout the day most of the time. 6 small meals like they say.

But i even try to eat small meals and i swear i take two bites and i get all flush and nauseated and sooooo bloated. I will literally forget to eat simply because i feel like i just got done eating the whole buffet. Ya know????? And whenever someone mentions food, im like DONT... im gna pop! hahaha. My dad was teasing all we need to do is sit her down in a buffet and she will get full just from looking!!! hahahhaha

I dont have hyperemesis but i dont eat alot. I NEVER feel hungry. I forse myself to eat everyday. I ended up in the hospital last Thurs because I had not eaten and my sons heart rate was in the 80's and 90's instead of the 140's and 150's. So the dr told me I needed to eat more so Im sitting here forcing myself to eat 6 meals a day but dang its hard. Im always feeling full.

Ok, try eating things that won't be so filling..Yogurt, smoothies, fruit. What got me thru the beginning of my pregnancy was those Carnation "Instant Breakfasts" It's a powder you mix with milk.(next to choc syrup in the stores)Has lotsa protien and vitamans, so you get what you need w/o having to eat alot. You just have to choose wisely, b/c you can't be starving your little girl. Green beans are really good for you, not so filling too. I hope you're able to eat/keep down more these days, you're little girl needs it now more than ever as she'll be putting on alot of weight soon. All though, by the looks of that big ole belly, dosen't look like she's starving at all!! Maybe your prenatal vitamin is keepin you full? Just a thought.

I force myself to eat all the time, and yes, I believe it has a lot to do with the fact that it's always a risk of throwing it up or not. It's not like I sit there and think "Oh, I just wont feed myself or the baby because I don't want to throw it up", it's almost like your body just stops you from going through it by you not getting hungry. I have major acid reflex, which we think is from all the throwing up I did in the first months. I take Zantac 150 twice a day and it really really helps.

i cant take my prenatals cause of my hyperemesis i just throw it up, and the doc told me drink vitamin water, which i am doing, but i still throw that up most times... and im lactose intolerant so i cant work out the milk and yogurt lol. I feel like my daughter is getting big and seems to be doing great weight wise, but im struggling... i guess as long as she is getting big i dont really have to worry, but i know that me not eating is not ok...
im so tired of throwing up...   uhg, its been really really bad for me the last week and a half i have not been able to hold one single thing down

I'm with you about not wanting to eat. especially since like you, everything typically just comes back up. So far nothing seems to help, even though i've tried just about everything i can think of. My dr. is still hopeful that this will go away soon, but i'm convinced that it will NEVER end. At least she's right about me not being the only one with this. Most of the preg. people i know have gotten sick maybe once or twice, and think that just feeling nausous for a few hours a day is horrible M/S. I feel NO sympathy for them though.

I'm SO sorry to hear of your constant vomiting! I can't imagine going thru that w/ a big belly. OWWW! Have you ever seen/heard of"Lactaid Milk"? My Hubby can't have milk either, but this "Lactaid" we found works for him! They also have "Lactaid pills" that you can take w/ the milk if it's still not agreeing w/ you. Lactaid milk is that same as regular milk, just has that lactaid enzyme in it, so it's easier for your body to digest. I worry that w/o prenatals or milk, you're lacking much needed calcium! Does you Dr have you on any suppliments?
Hope you're feeling better today...

Boy do I know how you feel! I've had hyperemesis since the very beginning and nothing is helping. I've been through all those meds as well and I'm still having a difficult time keeping fluids down. It's different now, I'm able to keep down some, but when I go even a couple hours without hydration, I can feel my energy just dwindle away. I'm so exhausted all the time from being so sick. I hate thinking about food also and I can't keep anything down. I still try, but like you that just makes me sick and I hate feeling and being sick all the time so I go without for awhile, but then feel like I'm depriving my growing son of his food so I force myself to eat only to get sick again and wonder if I'm actually doing him and I good, or just more harm. It's very frustrating with hyperemesis and unfortunately all the doctors are able to tell me is..."We are hoping it will lessen as the pregnancy goes on." Yeah, well it doesn't seem to be, so I don't know why they seem to damn optimistic about it... can't they see I'm sick and tired and exhausted and just want some help!!!?!!!
