I'm sorry for your loss...

While I've never lost a child, I do feel the same about my own children. It's because I have PPD though. Have you thought about getting counseling?

I never leave my kids because I'm "sure" something will happen. I'm around 24/7 but I live in my own head. I go through the motions. I feel very connected some days and somedays I don't remember most of the things we did because my thoughts were elsewhere.

I can't pretend I know what you're going through, but as far as the relationship with your second daughter, I can relate.

That's how I feel, some days I'm there 100% but other days not so much.
I want to go to therapy but I don't want to leave my daughter... ha ha kind of silly I know.

How old is she? I brought my daughter. Now I bring my son and leave my daughter with DH since she's older and I'm more comfortable with it. Any family therapist should have toys and stuff and be very understanding and will help engage your child a little so you can have a real conversation.

I thought it would be awful and hard to deal with her there, but it was always relaxing.

Therapy can be a wonderful thing mama...also alot of therapists (here at least) let you bring your LO with you as long as they're not disruptive. the therapist I see loves it when I bring my LO along with me, if she knows ahead of time she'll even book one of the children's rooms for our session so LO has things to keep her busy.
