Quoting Wolfy:" . . . I was a teen parent. Does that mean I'm this stupid? No it has nothing to do with the fact that she's a teen mom only the fact that she's an idiot."
Yes it does. Get off it. Perhaps you grew up, perhaps you didn't. From this post I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you're still a child.
Some teenage girls wish to have and keep children because of their own need to be loved. These young mothers usually have been deprived of affection and expect children to supply the love they have missed, and they will require help to achieve a realistic parenting relationship with their children......
Although there certainly are exceptions, most children of teenage parents are at a disadvantage compared to children of older parents
as noted in Table 10-2(B. C. Miller et al., 2003). Young parents are more likely to neglect or abuse their children most likely because these parents are often stressed and frustrated. Even if they are not abused, children may suffer from their teenage parents' lack of experience in handling adult responsibilities and caring for others.
Children of teenage parents are more likely to exhibit slow developmental and cognitive growth (Brooks-Gunn & Furstenberg, 1986). If poverty, marital discord, and poor education exist simultaneously in the family for an extended period of time, the child's risk of developing emotional problems also increases

So shut up.
