Yes it does. Get off it. Perhaps you grew up, perhaps you didn't. From this post I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you're still a child.

read this:

Some teenage girls wish to have and keep children because of their own need to be loved. These young mothers usually have been deprived of affection and expect children to supply the love they have missed, and they will require help to achieve a realistic parenting relationship with their children......
Although there certainly are exceptions, most children of teenage parents are at a disadvantage compared to children of older parents as noted in Table 10-2(B. C. Miller et al., 2003). Young parents are more likely to neglect or abuse their children most likely because these parents are often stressed and frustrated. Even if they are not abused, children may suffer from their teenage parents' lack of experience in handling adult responsibilities and caring for others. Children of teenage parents are more likely to exhibit slow developmental and cognitive growth (Brooks-Gunn & Furstenberg, 1986). If poverty, marital discord, and poor education exist simultaneously in the family for an extended period of time, the child's risk of developing emotional problems also increases

True, but I'm not a Dr so I can't diagnose her.

I would sell anything to feed my children - but in that situation, a yardsale isn't really going to help.

That seems like common sense, I don't know why people don't realize that smurf.

Did you re-type from a text book or C&P from a website? I kind of want to look at the rest of that.

Yes, I saw that. I have just seen some text books online, and they are usually cited as a book and not a website. Sorry.

In a way it is... but I know many women who are in those marriages and they are happy. Ladinos and Indigenous Guatemalans live very different lifestyles, and as I have seen, Indigenous men love and protect their wives more so than the Ladino men do here. It's their culture and what they know, though it is starting to change. I see more and more indigenous women in colleges, many are single up until late teens or early twenties and some are even getting their tubes tied after three children.

I want to add that racism is a huge thing in Guatemala. The indigenous people suffer a lot here and they live a very different life than the Ladinos do.

where are you moving to?

Most Guatemalans don't like Americans except for the fact they come with dollars to be honest. Not just Americans though, they also dislike the Swedish. It's because of the tourists, they come down and are loud, rude (one American woman told a Guatemalan not to BF in McDonald's because it was disgusting.) And most tourist (especially Swedish and American women) come down and go buck-wild.

Unfortunately, it isn't all Americans or Swedish who act like that, but the majority who travel here are crazy.
