single teen mum

im 37 weeks pregnant with a little girl and i cant wait to meet her, but im getting so fed up of people cutting my evils becuase im a teen mum does anyone else get this ?

With my first I was 18 and completely expected a smurf storm for a while.
You just have to suck it up and move on.

if you dont like what people say then all you can do is turn that around, ignore it, and prove them wrong. no matter the age some moms in general are going to get judgement its life

Age has nothing to do with the type of mother you CAN be/ are....

Don't give a smurf what other people have to say and you'll be much happier  

I'm alot younger than you and I barely ever get crap because I have a child, maybe it is because I don't tell everyone my age and consider my self just a mom. I don't see the need to add the teen part.

I'm only 19, and when I first started going to see my OB, I felt like they were brief and rude with me because I'm young.

As time went by, they've gotten much kinder and don't act rude anymore. Being a young mom, you'll have to deal with people judging you. You just have to show them that they're wrong about young moms, and that we can parent and love our children just as well as a woman in her 30s!

Up until last year, I was getting nasty stares from people because they thought I was a teen mom with a toddler. I'm 25 so far from a teen mom. You shouldn't care what people thing about you. But I think labeling a 19 year old as a "teen mom" with all the negative connotations to it is just stupid. You're an adult.
