That's pretty early for a 2d scan to be accurate... maybe 3d but IDK.. I'd wait a few more weeks!

they Usually wont even attempt to tell you the sex until 16 weeks at those places. I wouldn't waste your money... I'd wait until later on, atleast 16 weeks and Maybe talk to your OB about when they will do a scan...

I found out at 17 weeks I was having a boy....

Why not just wait that month or month and a half for a more accurate result?

why would you go so early? is it your choice?
by me they dont do the level 2 until 18-22 weeks.

because usually the babies 'parts' aren't even developed yet

Don't get your hopes up, and even if they tell you what they think I wouldn't go out and buy stuff for baby until you have another one done closer to 20 weeks when it will be more accurate.

The reproductive organs cannot accurately be determined that early.

If you are paying out of pocket, you should probably wait at LEAST four more weeks to do that. It simply won't be any more accurate than a coin flip at that point.

Good luck.

My doctor tried "sneaking a peek" @ 16 weeks..the baby was curled into a ball.
I'm going today to get a second one done(this time we are paying out of pocket) and I'm afraid they STILL won't be able to tell.
