Im in a wedding party, my best friend is getting married and I'm the bridesmaid. My son is not in the wedding party and he wants to wear a now tie tuxedo. He really wants to do it!! I don't know what to do! My husband is going wear one and my son takes after him. He wants to be like his father. I have no idea what 2 do!! He is 14!

at 14 he should be able to understand about wedding parties and guests, so explain it to him. If it's still an issue talk to your friend.

Let him wear the tux and maybe you can talk him into not wearing a tie and just leave the top button undone for a more semi formal look?

I've already tried that and he wants the bow tie. I know this may sound like I'm a drama queen but my oldest daughter just graduated high school and my second oldest is going to be a senior my son is starting for travel team soccer. Like major. I'm from Kentucky and he has games in northern georgia.. My husband has been working late nights and not coming home until 3am and I'm holding down the fort. I'm sooooooooooooooooooo stressed,.. So yeah..

do you think the bride and groomed would be offended if a teenager wanted to wear a bowtie to their wedding? I think its cute that he would want to wear one. So many boys would be like "Meeeeeh im too cool for that'

If a 14 year old wanted to dress like that to attend my wedding I would be all for it.
