Bloody Noses?

Mine seems to be bleeding daily now. My doctor said that it's normal for that to happen in some cases...Anyone else having this problem?

mine did a lot in the 2nd trimester..

Ya, I don't have full on nose bleeds, but definitely when I blow my nose there is ALWAYS blood. Occasionally I get some drips, but ya, it's normal, don't worry

I had it my entire time, and although not common, it does happen in pregnancies due to raging hormones and a few other reasons. But yeah, I still get them sometimes.

I have one every day. Between the bloody noses and "pink gums" I think my body is making up for not having a preiod the last 6 months!

Thats how I'm feeling. Between bleeding gums and bloody noses. It really sucks!!

I'm prone to them anyway, but they're more frequent now that I'm pregnant. They interupt everything and I hate it. My blood seems to be a bit thin anyway and I usually have a hard time stopping them. They said if it ever gets that bad again they're going to cauterize my nose. Fun stuff, I tell ya!

You might be anemic. When you bleed and it doesn't stop, that's often a sign of anemia, which can occur during pregnancy, even if you've never had it before. Taking iron supplements can help, although don't buy them from the store - have them prescribed because too much iron can cause a heart attack and something that should be monitored by your doctor.

I had one this morning that lasted almost 45 minutes but only on the right side! My doctor did say I was anemic, I've been taking iron supplements for about a week now. But it really surprised me when all of a sudden there was blood everywhere.

I've had it off and on throughout my entire life but because of my Prenatals while I was pregnant, I never had that problem - until now, just 13 weeks PP.

I don't exactly nose bleed but I find blood regularly when I blow my nose

Yeah...I know this is TMI but I always wondered why I'd literally bleed through tampons and pads when I used them together - only to find out I was anemic,which is why I bled so much. Once I got that straightened out, I only bled for 1 day and that was it...no joke. But now I cut myself last night with a knife cooking & I bled for at least an hour....so I know I'm anemic again, unfortunately.
