I'm just curious, i feel like my breasts started leaking alot sooner with my first pregnancy, i'm almost 28 weeks, and a couple weeks ago i had a clear substance come out of one of my nipples but it was only a tiny bit, and nothing since then. Around what time should i start getting colostrum?
Quoting ×ø×K·ßear×ø×:" theres nothing saying when you should start leaking.. it varies with everyone. i personally didnt leak at all til after i gave birth to where ive known people to leak pretty early in pregnancy"
Yeah i remember being very early in my pregnancy with my first, but so far, nothing, i'm not complaining, but i am thinking of breastfeeding this time and hope to not have any issues with my milk supply or anything.
Just got back from my breast feeding class and not all women leak and it can change for each pregnancy. Before baby is born we leak pre-term milk which is actually very very high in protein and fat for a pre term baby, at around 37-40 weeks is when the colostrum comes in.
