Well I don't remember all the exact details but I will try my best. On June 11th me and my hubby went into our room around 2 a.m. And did the dirty and cuddled. He fell asleep around 6 and I was awake getting ready to go to bed when I started having some dull back pains after about 2 of them being around 10 minutes apart I decided to try and time them. I noticed I was getting them about 10-15 minutes apart. Around 7:30 they were still regularly 10 mins apart so I decided to try and get some sleep just in case (never fell asleep though) and I stopped timing them. Around 9:00 I decided to time them again as they felt closer together, they were around 3-4 mins apart by then lasting about 30-40 seconds but they still weren't painful enough for me to leave. Around 10 they were still regular so I decided to wake hubs up, and finish our last minute packing. Around 10:30 I decided to take a shower and by then they got a bit more stronger. Around 12:00 they were about 2 minutes apart lasting 40 seconds and getting more painful, so we decided to take the 40 minute drive to the hospital so I could check how far I was. We got there and by then they were getting really painful and I couldn't walk or talk through them. So the nurses checked me and said I was only 2 1/2 centimeters and I was so disappointed! I had no clue how I was gonna cope with the pain when I got farther. Around 1:50 we decided to go to a nearby hotel and get a room for his parents to stay at. When we got to the hotel they decided to leave to find a pharmacy so I could get some ambien and maybe take a nap. I labored in the bath tub there, and by then I stopped timing them but the pain was so intense! I was crying and begging my hubby to make it stop. They only time I would get a little bit of relief was when I was on all fours. Some time around 3:00 I was on all fours and in the middle of a contraction when I just had the urge to stand up and all of a sudden I felt a gush and I put my hand down and look and there was blood and then my body just started pushing by itself and I started screaming. I yelled at my hubby telling him I was bleeding and pushing and I ran to the bathroom and I was bleeding everywhere. My body kept trying to push and I was freaking out thinking that I wasn't dilated enough for him to come and that something was horribly wrong and that I was going to die or bubs was going to die. I ended up jumping into the bath tub (no idea why) and meanwhile hubby was on the phone with 911. About 3-4 minutes later the paramedics were in the bathroom and checking me. They carried me out of the tub and put me on the bed and said I was crowning. At this time I was still freaking out thinking it couldn't be right, I mean only an hour and a half before that I was barely over a 2! They told me right there that with the next contraction they wanted me to start pushing. And well about 10 minutes later at 3:25 we welcomed my little man into this world. From there I went to the hospital and I had no tearing and little man was perfect, he weighed 7 pounds 3 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long and born at 39 weeks 6 days. Later that night two of the paramedics actually came back to visit us and I found out this was the first baby delivered by one of them. This is pretty much it, I am finally home now with my baby boy, and I know there is probably a ton of mistakes but I am still super tired and trying to take care of bubs. Well here are some pics of my little man!
