bf kid drives me crazy!!

he has joint custody and his baby momma is trashy and doesn't discipline him at all. so he is a smurf most of the time and when he stays with us iim watching jim most of the time . well anyways hes good for me but the second his dad is around he acts like a baby. hes almost 5 and still cant wipe his ass , take a bath, buckle himself up or anything. my point being im the only one who ever tries to make more independent while everyone else still babies himm. anyways im 6 months pregnant and ill be damned before our kid tries acting like that. i just hate his kid and dont have the patients or love to take of someone elses brat..hed. idk what to do he is so needy it stresses me out

Has he seen a doctor for potential delays? I know you don't like his mom, but don't take it out on the kid. It's not his fault.

You should leave. Especially since you hate your baby daddys other child.

His child isn't going anywhere so either you need to learn how to love him and accept him as a part of your boyfriend's life or move on.

Those don't sound like developmental delays at all. Sounds like a normal five year old.

You need to tell him you don't want to watch his kid anymore. How'd you end up being his primary caregiver during his time with his dad?

wow, that's a really smurffy thing for you to say that you hate a five year old. I know i get annoyed and frustrated sometimes with other kids, but i don't hate them. It's not the kids fault, he could have some delays. And just because you hate his mother doesn't mean you take it out on the child, he obviously acts out because he doesn't get the attention he needs or deserves.

  Poor kid. He regresses around his dad- its probably got to do with the break-up of his parents, and this chick has no love for him, actually hates him??.. I'm sure things are going to turn out swimmingly for this little dude

What the smurf? I understand if you're stressed out about the lack of discipline but this child is what, 5 correct? It's not his fault. Patience is a virtue especially in parenting! Talking like that about your step-child is a baaad sign. It's fine to not care for him but to say that he's a brat and all else that you said is questionable.
