re: Smokers everywhere

My rude comments came after people saying they would blow smoke in my direction on purpose or telling me to move or to have my daughter stay home, those people are the ones I'm calling assess, those are the ones I'm saying wour from and it makes hldn't give a smurf about her health. And yeah I got rude back because I feel those are stupid comments like I'm it's reasonable to say keep your kid at home come on now. There's places I keep her from and it mkes her mad but I have no choice for example she has a severe bee allergy and carries an epi pen but we look her to lake compounds once and the place was swarming with yellow jackets it always is but the last time we went she was stung and thats when we found out she was allergic. Well because the place is swarming I won't take her back there that's just common sense. I know she can get stung any where but taking her there is like asking for it. but as for the smoke I feel that it could be avoided I can't control what everyone does and where they do it just wish and would hope others would realize it is a health problem for some and smpoke considerably thats all.

I understand that you want people to be more considerate because of your daughter's and other peoples health issues. I agree that some smokers are extremely rude and should think more.
My suggestion would be to just ask politely if they would mind stepping away and give a short explanation (i.e. my daughter has severe asthma). Most smokers will be considerate and step away or move downwind. Just be polite and you will get some decent results.
Just keep in mind that some people are asses by nature and won't move/be rude no matter what you do.

I was like that too. WHen i first got on here, i read through some posts in different threads. In some i was like   how can people be so mean? then in some i was like   at some of the stupid posts. Then i realized i could be really mean.
Hell, one of my first posts on here got a lot of really mean comments. But i was on my phone, i was upset, and I didn't make much sense even to myself when i read back through it.

lmao my first post went straight to TDC because I was new and sooooooo stupid and posted about why is everyone so mean to people. I was just reading some threads going OMG people are aweful here and yeah I aaaaaaaaah well learned my lesson super fast

mine was about something someone in my SO's family said to me and it pissed me off (being all pregnant and hormonal). I was on my phone and pissed so it didnt really make much sense and there were a lot of grammar and spelling errors.

  lol I always have to refrain from correcting people on FB. I really have no idea how these people are in college still making these mistakes.

I know it's probably moved way past this now, but..

I must have been an incredibly nice smoker. I cannot think of a time in my 10+ years of smoking that anyone ever complained. Smoking in lines or where people cannot get away from it, is rude IMO. It was my choice to smoke and I never had the attitude that other people just had to deal with it.
