WIC question

I just switched half of our milk to lactose free for me. My question is if the check says "2(half gallons) milk, lactose free, lower fat" Does that mean it HAS to be lactose free or it can be 2 half gallons of lower fat too?

sounds like it means lower fat/lactose free milk, not one or the other...

Thats what I thought too. But I just wanted to check. The booklet doesnt say and they pretty much switch ALL of our milk to the lactose free.. and I really dont drink that much milk. I guess Ill just have to switch it back next appt thanks

It means you buy 2% or less fat in the lactose free version.

Low fat 1 precent or fat free latose freemilk.

Just use it. Lactose free is the same thing as regular milk just a little sweeter. It's not going to do anything for LO, if anything be easier to digest.

No, we'll definitely use it! The way we do through milk in this house, not using it is not an option lol. I dont think it tastes any different and the kids dont mind. DH drinks the most milk in the house and he is picky. But he's going to have to suck it up until August lol

He probably has never even had it to be honest. He just decides he doesnt like something, and thats the end of it lol.
