Quoting ~CrankyMrsPreggyPants~:“ Like a self delivered home birth? I have a good friend who successfully did it . She did have midwives on call though . What is your plan??”
Well my mother in law maybe here if a need someone to entertain my two other children. Also my little sister maybe here to photograph only while I labor, but it depends on how I'm feeling about it at the time. I really only want my husband there to assist in the delivery, after all it only took the two of us to make this baby (well God did a lot of the work) and I'm tired of being discouraged by people that think they need to intervene. I trust in my body and after two babies I know how to listen to it, even though the painful pitosin. Hospitals don't understand the meaning of a natural birth. I didn't want any drugs with my last two delivers but they told my I wasn't moving along fast enough for them so they were going to put me on pitosin. They ruptured my membranes prematurely then two hours later they threatened me with a c-section if my baby wasn’t born soon, even though neither one of us were in any distress (except for the stress they put me through and my daughter with the crushing pitosin). I was so pissed I was doing everything that my body was telling me and they had no faith in me. This was all with a midwife by the way. I will never put my baby or myself through that again. I know I can do this myself, and I will.
