a period with no bleeding? help!

So I woke up this morning with what I was thinking were period cramps because they were gradually getting worse and my period always comes in the morning.

Well I got up to pee and some period-like blood came out also (sorry for all this TMI) so I put a pad on. I've been laying down since then because the cramps have been making me feel sick. I just checked my pad because I noticed I hadn't felt any bleeding and I was right, there was none. My lower stomach feels similar to how it does when I have a period but nothing else is happening. This is so strange.

Does anyone have an idea of what could be going on? I always think of the worst possible scenario so of course my mind jumps to pregnancy, miscarriage.... anything bad.

I would wait a little to start worrying. If you suspect you're pregnant I would test just test today. Or tomorrow morning.

I wish I didn't worry so much  
The last time I had sex it was during the part of my cycle where it shows on my calendar that I'm most fertile but we did use a condom. I know it's not 100% but the odds are more in my favor of not being pregnant but there's still some doubt.

I just don't know why my periods are so weird lately. Last month after it ended I spotted for about 8-9 days which has never happened and now this. Painful cramps with no bleeing. I don't get it.
