Heartburn grrrr

im 18 weeks and 1 day and i have horrible heartburn, tried gavisgon and it hasnt touched it. Horrible stuff !!

Tums is what has worked for me in this pregnancy. They work in about 30 seconds too.

try loveheart sweeties. or the refresher ones. i always keep a pack with me, 1 or 2 a time works wonders. my cousin and friend recommended them and they really work, and they r tasty too  

im suffering the same thing , best advise dont bother with the tablets and natural stuff , most dont work. just ignore and do something to destarct yourself(read a book , watch tv ect.) it should just fade away within 10-20mins.

mine doesnt fade, gts worse then makes me feel sick, really uncomfortable. ill try loveheart sweets ill go tesco and get a pack now   thanks

tesco had the refresher ones on offer 4 for £1, i sent my partner out to buy me in a load. lol. hope they help

Mine has never faded away in 10-20 minutes. I've tried waiting hours before taking something. But, with this pregnancy I've never had it just fade away.

Im 27 weeks and 5 days and i have it real bad milk help me

awe heart burn is the worse Im 35 weeks along and Ive had it my whole pregnancy my dr prescribed me Famotidine 20 mg it works wonders I take it 2x's a day u can also buy it over the counter or ask ur dr about it and see if they will write u a perscripition for it..... hope this helps ya......

ill have to ask, its different in the uk, there tight on things like this

I use Tums and it works great for me. I cant eat anything without getting heartburn.

gota love the good ol' NHS lol. my doctor gave me peptac liquid, its disgusting, thick, gloopy and made me gag, but it worked. i just cant force it down my throat anymore

since being pregnant i find it hard to eat mose things with a texture like gavisgon, tried love hearts n still not working. ive eaten so many yoghurts today, i cant drink milk on its own, makes me gag too
