Is she depressed and turns to weed to handle it? I know you said she doesn't have anxiety but has she seen anyone about depression?

She can quit without taking pills. Weed isn't addictive.

Not physically addictive like heroin, but a lot of people do form addictions in their head with pot. I know quite a few that start getting very anxious/angry/upset when they have to go without.

Wellbutrin is an anxiety/depression (I don't remember which) medication that has the same active ingredients as Zyban (which is for quitting cigarettes). I could see a Dr prescribing that, as there's always a possibility it may help.
I was put on Wellbutrin in high school to quit cigarettes (insurance company wouldn't cover zyban for a 17 y/o, Dr said Wellbutrin is basically the same thing) but I had a really bad allergic reaction to it.

the WEED itself isnt addictive, but the feeling of it is. My Hubby admitted to me a few years ago that he needed help quitting because he was addicted. I said "they say its not addictive".... thats a lie. People depend on the feeling of the high.

Not always.
I've been on anti-depressants off and on for 12 years, but I've only been in therapy twice.
My mom has never been to therapy but she gets her "happy pills" every month.
A lot of family practitioner s will just prescribe em if you feel you need it (and you have to fill out a questionnaire).
