is this dumb ?

Ever since LO was born i have been saving the empty wipes containers, i figured she could use them as blocks when she gets a little older. Anyone else done this ??

yep my lo uses them to put things in...and take out of...and put in...and take out of lmao...it's adorable  

I know a lot of people who have saved a few to use to store smaller baby items like nail clippers, snot suckers, ect. But Ive never heard of someone saving them for future toys before.

thats what i figured, i have things packed in a few like paci's and her creams and things like that. they are so handy. But i figured its cheaper then buying blocks.

I don't think it sounds dumb. I never even thought about that. I have one of the plastic containers and I just get refills for it..so I never buy a bunch of them.  

Originally I didn't intend to keep them as toys but as storage for some of her smaller odds and ends...then I left an empty one out one day and voila NEW TOY lmao

Back when I was a kid tey had the Lego looking wipe containers. My mom saved them with my younger siblings... We loved them lol. We bought Costco wipes so they came in plastic bag type containers. Didn't save those for safety reasons LOL

ha good idea! I saved them with no goal in mind but refilling them (and never did). Im gonna do that, and use them for baby stuff storage too. I have too much medicines and creams and thermometers and junk everywhere.

We use ares to put the kids art stuff in them. Paint brushes glue ect......
They have come in handy for my oldest schools projects before and she decorated some with paper mache (not sure how to spell that) lol and painted them and gave them as x-mas gifts they were jewlery boxes for me my mom are gramma and her sister and 2 cousins. She hid herself in are art room for 3 days last dec, and made them in secret...she's 10 lol and new how to make it by herself, which she always does. lol They were so beautiful too.
