I couldn't make the little leek thingie with the spices in it, I was too dumb.
My suggestion is just put straight up pepper in it, and a sprig of thyme. Its easy to yank out and easy to spot. Also, if you don't LIKE white whine, skip it and do extra chicken stock... its very prominent. Oh, and do a few extra strips of bacon... you can never have too much bacon
Also, the cream didn't make it creamy enough for me, so I whisked in a dollop of sour cream at the end.
