I use the MyFitnessPal app and count my calories, I try to stay at or below 1220 a day, unless I work out that day then I eat more. Let's see, some of my favorite low cal breakfasts are cottage cheese, or a 90 calorie Special K granola bar, or a frozen waffle with bananas on it (no syrup or anything)... For lunches I typically eat a sandwich (turkey on whole wheat bread with muenster cheese and spinach) which is a really low calorie sandwich, with the natural white cheddar cheetos (SOOOO GOOD!)... Or sometimes I'll eat like a Lean Cuisine frozen meal or something. Snacks I have those cheese wedge things with crackers (the cheese is only 30 calories!), or string cheese, or cottage cheese, or fruit, or some of those cheetos if I didn't have them with my lunch... Dinner's are always different. If I'm not cooking for Tommy I like to just do a frozen meal, but if I'm cooking I always do a big salad (my favorite salad is spinach with walnuts and strawberries with a raspberry hazelnut viniagrette dressing), with whatever we eat. Sometimes fish, sometimes chicken (i like spinach stuffed chicken the best), and sometimes I make like turkey burgers or a low calorie lasagna like tonight. I usually have enough calories left to have another snack after dinner (most people have a snack between breakfast and lunch, but I'm NEVER hungry enough for one in the morning, and I always get hungry late at night) so I have those Quaker rice cakes, the caramel kind are SOOO good, or like a 100 calorie pack of popcorn or kettle corn. I don't drink pop or tea anymore unless I am super stressed then I'll waste calories on a Dr. Pepper, but counting calories with this app made it SOOO easy to keep track of, and made me realize how many calories i was wasting on OJ, tea and pop.
