Easy cookie recipe?

Okay I'm terrible at baking cookies, they always come out cakey. I need a tried and true cookie recipe. No chocolate, DS doesn't like it. Probably sugar or peanut butter cookies.

We were watching Umizoomi and they were celebrating "Just because I love you day" and my son looked at me all sad like and said "I wish I had some I love you cookies". Heart = melted. I'm making him some lol

3 ingredient peanut butter cookies

1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg

350 for 8 minutes makes 6 large cookies for me or 12 little ones.

No, the dough gets really smooth.

I like to roll them in balls and then smoosh them with the fork in a cris-cross pattern but you can drop them by spoonfuls too.

Those are the best cookies. I like to use crunchy peanut butter in mine.

If the cookies are as good and the batter, they will be marvelous lol

Tell me how my kid loves peanut butter more than anything and doesn't like these cookies? They are so good!

I should have known better than to make him cookies, he never likes sweets lol. Good think I only made half a batch bc it looks like I will be eating them
