Last night my DS fell hard! He landed funny, on his right leg but also on his stomach and face. It was a HARD fall on wood floors. Today he keeps complaning about his leg hurting. I called the doctor and he said it is probably just sore and if it gets worse or lasts more than a couple days to bring him in. Thing is my kid is one of those kids who from the moment he wakes up to the moment he goes to bed he is full speed running, crawling doing stuff and today he has just kind of sat on the floor with his trucks. When he tries to do somethhing he makes a face and stops. So what do you think?

ok my middle child rarely complains of pain, when he gets hurts he may cry for a minute but he's fine but one morning he woke up and said Daddy my wrist hurts now I was in the next room over hearing it His dad (my ex) is an EMT-I has been for more than 20 years so he says oh it looks fine you probably slept on it wrong, well we got in the car to head to church and he started crying cuz he couldn't buckle up because it hurt to much to use it I thought that was odd but I let it go but then while teaching sunday school I saw him pick up a crayon to color drew 1 line and put it down I asked what was wrong and he said I can't color it hurts. (again this kid never complains there was NO bruising NO swelling Nothing) I decided it was time to go to the ER well sure enough his wrist was fractured so I would take him to get looked at any way if the Dr says it's nothing say humor me and x-ray the darn thing, better safe than sorry

I would get it looked at.
My nephew was walking funny (there was no major fall--he's 2 and sort of clumsy, so it could have been anything) and my sister took him to the doctor; he had fractured his tibia. he was too little to tell us what hurt, but he would say ouchie

I would go get it looked at. My DS fell off a bed, landed on blankets and pillows and fractured his ankle in 3 places. Cried for maybe 10 minutes. It didn't swell or turn purple, he just refused to walk on it. So I took him in and sure enough he needed a cast.

Thats great because it hurts us when our LO's are hurting, I hate seeing my babies hurt or sick
