But I know many kids in my situation who fell by the wayside.”At my high school they had a program where parents would come in and tutor the at risk students. Kind of gave them someone to look up to. It was really a good idea. They also have the big brother big sister program too.
Quoting Nicole B:“ Just wondering what that thing on your face is in that picture? Sorry if I'm prying but do you have a medical condition? I feel sorry for you, it must be tough.... ”
Quoting RebeccaK:“ All parents of EVERY race/religion need to step up and make an effort to be a part of their childs education. ... [snip!] ... important to want to make your parents proud. It helps you want to achieve more for not only yourself but for them as well.”

Quoting Praying for a miracle.:“ Yea, things like that help at risk children esp when they are not getting the support they need athome. ... [snip!] ... athome. I think if some adults chose to act like adults then most children would not have to go through what they do. Some situations can't be avoided but ALOT of them can.
