see from what I hear racism is alot more obvious in the states. Now I have lived in two places one growing up with my mom in a suburb. Now we had good and bad apples of course but for the most part everyone got along. Canada is one of the most diverse countries listed by the UN and in my HS we had all sorts gay men(gay black men), asian, middle eastern etc about 60% of the school was 2nd or 1st generation canadian. Now i no longer live with my mom *havent in 4 years* and live in what people like to label ghetto part of toronto, it has the same diversity but is a bit more divided. Still everyone in my building is friendly with eachother regardless

I'm saying that people are less likely to hear a white complain about something. They dont seem to have any voice in important issues (if they arent rich) because they are not minorities.

My aunt is a schoold teacher. She is white and I'm pretty sure that the majority of the students there are white. She has to buy alot of her own supplies and she pays for alot of things the school is supposed to pay for. She also likes to crab about how little she gets paid.It's in a pretty good area too. It's in upper class Spring Hill.

So would you rather mesay I rode the government's ass until I got here.? And are you assuming I am proving your point b/c the school I came from was mostly black? B/c it most certainly was not! Which proves my point, ppl always assume things because of someone's race. Not all black ppl are alike, so before you generalize an entire race, how about saying some or most.

It's partially the schools and partially the student's will to learn. There are a number of factors that contribute to black drop out rate, to blame the schools alone is taking alot of responsibility fromthe parent's and society and placing it all on the shoulders of the governement.

I personally think the government loves for people to be racist,because it prevents us from banding together and insisting on certain changes.

I am saying anything but: I never generalized to race, you did. "Bad" schools are a product of socioeconomics NOT race.
