I didn't mean for it to sound like blacks and other minorities don't experience racism.I simply wanted to point out that racism goes both ways,across the racial spectrum.

What do you mean by BLACK students getting off of the goverment's ass? Children cannot control where they are born or who they are born to, so if they happen to be born in an area where the education is not as good as in another area, should they not be affored the same chances as another child? I am sure that there are WHITE, HISPANIC, NATIVE AMERICAN and every other race upset that their children get a second rate education because of where they live.

I don't mind complaining, lol. My ancesters didn't do anything to anyone, they didn't even come over on the boat untill the early 1900's and then because they were Irish were highly discrimenated against. And on the other side my ancesters were raped, killed, and exploited by the white settlers. Personally I feel the past should be left there: no one deserves any better or worse treatment for things that happened in history that they cannot controll.

There are a lot of black couples that go to my church. Everyone talks to them and treats them just the same as they treat me. They have the most respectful children too. One is in a missions class with my cousin Rosie. The lady, Claire, makes the BEST strawberry pie!!

Very much agreed. No one should be blamed for something they didn't do. Or disrespected for something they didn't do. Everyone has someone (a family member, family friend, or ancestor) that they would just rather not be related or socially related to.

In my experience, blacks have been more vocal about the quality of edcuation recieved and more likely to pin it on the fact that they are black and not because of socioeconomic status, where the real problem lies.

YOU SAY THAT AS IF BLACK CHILDREN CANT NORMALLY BE RESPECTFUL. EVERY RACE HAS THEIR GOOD AND BAD APPLES. THE MEDIA MAKES IT SEEM DIFFERENT. DID U KNOW A BLACK CRIMINAL IS MORE LIKELY TO BE SHOWN ON THE NEWS THEN A WHITE CRIMINAL

The past should be remembered so we do not repeat it, but left in the past as to say what people did back then is not a justification of how to treat people now.

Hell,my ancestors were still in Lebanon and Germany until the 1950's so I don't quite understand how any of it traces back to me in the first place,you know?Espescially when the person mad at me is younger than me.I guess it's just human nature to judge and what not,which is unfortunate.
