Quoting RebeccaK:“ Oh ok. I was kind of wondering what everyone reading this thread thought about the "No Child Left Behind Act?" Do you think it's doing good or just wasting our tax dollars?”I think it's doing more harm to teachers than good for students, personally.

Quoting Ms. Von Fate:“ I think it's doing moe harm to teachers than good for students, personally.”I agree. If you look at the situation then you can see how the teachers are overworked as it is. They don't get paid extra for the extra work they're doing and students aren't really responding like Bush though they would. I think they should put that program down the crapper and do something else for children with the money they're spending.

Quoting Tara: '08 Honor's Grad!:“ I think it's bad to yank funding from schools who have bad test scores: it just makes things worse not better.”Exactley. They need attention to try and improve test scores. I say you don't take a crutch from a cripple.
Quoting Tara: '08 Honor's Grad!:“ My major problem is that just throwing money at the problem doesn't fix the problem.”

Quoting Tara: '08 Honor's Grad!:“ My major problem is that just throwing money at the problem doesn't fix the problem.”Espescially if you don't even know which problem to throw it at.
