It lasts longer each time you get it. For upkeep it should be done every 4-6 weeks. I would maybe do it a week before the pics then again right before the wedding. I have found no cons other than the quick pain
Pros:
Less ingrowns (i used to get a ton now its like 2-4)
Hair grows in softer and slower
No bumps
No risk of cutting
Nice clean look

Do it before the pics so you know how you will react. When I keep up with mine the redness is gone within 48 hours.

I was going to get one done before my wedding also, but I was like "well I will try to save money and do it at home instead"

Bad idea. It hurt so badly that I couldn't make myself rip the wax off. I literally sat in the empty tub, cutting each individual hair until I got it all off. It took hours.

After that I was too scarred to go to a salon and get it done lol

I was so against it for a long time. But then one of my friends graduated cosmetology school and her boss at the salon she started working at told her she was going to need to be doing it and she asked if she could practice on me because she's rather practice on someone she knows lol so I let her and it hurt a little but you get used to it and its way better than shaving. haha

It doesn't really hurt. Redness should go within 2 days. If you want a nice smooth vag then do it max 3 days before otherwise it will already have regrowth.
