I'm not good with scary movies in general. I don't watch them . I went with friends who wanted to go...and I didn't like it from the start but the rape just crossed the line and I left.

Not true.
I was raped for 10 years of my life and they don't bother me. They're sad, but not enough to where I won't wanna watch.

The one in The Last House on the Left was pretty bad.
The one in Straw Dogs (remake) was hot until he had the second dude come in...but maybe that's because Alexander Skarsgard is so hot??

I was raped and I can't watch them. They upset me and usually trigger s panic attack and nightmares. I google most horror movies before I watch them to make sure they're safe. And I wouldn't be comfortable letting my kids watch them.

Doesnt bother me. Especially since the girl in I spit on your grave gets back at the guys who raped her. Lol

It's all fiction though, so regardless, no matter how realistic, it does not bother me.

What would you guys think if you watched a movie where a woman was drugged and had a gruesome abortion performed on her? That's in my next script.

I don't have an issue with it being shown at all, but it's probably not something I would watch.

I've been tempted to watch "I Spit On Your Grave", actually, but now that I know some of it's content I may not - I don't handle things like that very well.

The remake's rape scene wasn't as bad as the original, if that means anything.

Oh then I would definitely stay away from "I Spit on Your Grave." The rape scene was far worse.

I do/make independent horror films...usually no budget ones.
I was in a rape scene in a friends movie, I was murdered and then raped. It was fun, to me and I actually got paid for that role, so I was happy.

I prefer gory as well to sexual violence. It seems like cheap, torture porn and not real horror movies.
