bfp then bfn?

I got a BFP yesterday with my FMU on a dollar store test. This morning I took a test with a first response and it was a BFN.
WTF!!
I'm supposed to get AF on Friday so I guess I'll wait til then to see what happens.
Has this happened to any of you mamas? What was the end result?

id get a different brand and test again, the FR's i've noticed haven't been picking up as early as other tests lately

Was it FMU or did you get up to pee sometime last night? It might have just been diluted since you're so early.

Was the dollar test blue dye? I know those are known to give out false positives from time to time. Would you be able to test tomorrow morning with FMU?

I had the opposite problem with my FRERs being wayyy more sensitive than my cheapie test...
A friend of mine though, she had a dark pos on a cheapie she took and her FR was so light it was barely visible at all.

It was FMU. I peed last night at like 3 am then took the test at 9 am.

Nope, it was a pink dye. You can go look at my linespotters post and see it. I could, but I only have one test left and I'm kinda nervous to 'waste' it if it isn't gonna show yet. Ya know?

have you thought about buying a first response or clear blue?...I believe first response can detect up to 5 days before your missed period...

Well Friday is only 2 days away, so do you thin kyou'd be able to handle the suspense? Or you can always schedule an appt with a local clinic to see if you can get a pregnancy test done.

Yes I think thats what I'm going to do. It's just really weird to me that I got a positive at all and I got kind of excited.

I wanted to get a blood test done just so I know for sure. But idk if I can just request one of those or if thats something they have to wanna do?

TRy calling them and asking. Let them know you've had + and - and you don't know what to believe.
