I definitely agree. I know one too many people who abuse the system for their drug habit, and it makes me sick.

But I DO think its funny that people think once we start drug testing everyone that magically no one will be allowed to use it or.. I'm not really sure what people think the outcome will be. Like, cool, some people won't be allowed to use welfare anymore. Aaannnndddddd.... what does that fix for you? Lol

Its going to hurt the kids because the parents can't abstain from drug use. I don't think there is an easy solution.

Its only unconstitutional to the people who arent using their benefits for the right reasons. It makes me sick that people milk the system.
I just stood behind a girl in the grocery store, trying to calculate if I had enough in cash AND on my card to pay for the groceries.
The girl in front of me has a designer bag, designer heels, her hair was freshly dyed, trimmed and blown out (as a former cosmotology student- i know the familiar smells) and was texting on her new iphone bitching that her EBT card wasnt working and wouldnt show her id.

And yeah- there is always going to be someone abusing the system. But to weed out the druggies that dont even use their benefits for what they get them for- i'm glad about that.

Do you know how easy it is to fool those tests?
On the flip side, a mom who knows that she will pop positive will probably not apply for WIC/food stamps and her children will go hungry.
