possible trip to L&D today...

Just a heads up to my PT. Contractions were roughly 10-20 minutes apart yesterday and last night they got down to between 2-3 minutes apart for a while. SO talked me into going to bed and see what happened instead of tiring myself out staying up all night... I managed to fall asleep somehow. This morning I woke up and the third and fourth contractions were 19 minutes apart, then 16, then 13, then 7 minutes... looks like they could be dropping in time again... if they get like they did last night (2-3 minutes) and stay that way for an hour or so then we will be going in to be checked. SO took the day off just in case.

Procardia doesnt work (or didnt last week when my contractions were so close together) and they cant give me the Terb shot because of my tachycardia (high heart rate)... so we will see what happens. I got my final steroid shot for Brynn's lungs yesterday morning, so she is "safe to come" as the Drs say, whenever... Im just thankful I have the shots already and have made it to 32 weeks now... if she comes now, chances are that she wont be in the NICU too long....

oh gosh girl. I hope they can get them to at least subside or somthing.

Friend of mine had 32 weeks twins last year they were both about 3lbs......drs let them leave as soon as they hit 5lbs and passed their carseat tests.

Brynn weighed around 3lbs 7oz a couple weeks ago, so she should be around 4- 4 1/2 lbs by now. She was measuring in the high 50- low 60% for her growth... I just hope if she is born now that breastfeeding wont be too hard to master... I may have to get a nipple shield like I had to use with Asyia... Asyia was born at 34 weeks...

My was born at 32 weeks and he was 4lbs 4oz - I didnt get steroid shots so his lungs were not developed and he was in the hospital for 6 weeks - but when I was in the hospital after having my daughter I was visiting her in the ISCU and there was a 28 week premmie soooo tiny the mother had the steroid shots and she was whaling and screaming as loud as could be and she was just brought in - those things truly work wonders!! my daughter was born at 34w no steroid shots and her lungs were fine and required no oxygen

I dont know... they cant really give me anything to stop labor... even two bags of IV fluids did nothing, which is why they sent me home last week and told me come back if contractions got worse or if I had bleeding or felt like ny water was broken or baby wasnt moving normal...

My second daughter had steroid shots at 30 weeks and was born at 34 weeks and had no major problems and was able to come home with me two days later when I was discharged... I know though that if Brynn is born now that she will have to stay put for a little bit... hopefully not too long.

My body is really cleaning itself out today too... I just started having bad diarrhea (sorry for tmi).... all day yesterday I was losing clear globs of mucus plug too... Ill be shocked if we make it to 36 weeks. My Drs dont think Ill make it that far though, so who knows... its a wait and see game now...
