To breastfeed?

I understand where I'm asking this, however I'm VERY prone to Mastitis, I've had it 7 times this year...including at the moment. So needless to say I'm very worried about breastfeeding this baby. Is it a good idea? Would it help? I still have very clogged ducts from Sebastian's sudden weaning.

My doctor told me to breast feed more often when I got mastitis... i only got it when i let my daughter sleep on my chest or wore a tight bra to sleep.
maybe that helps? I dont know. thought i'd share.

I had mastitis 3 times in 3 months with myfirst. I didn't get it with my second, however, it could be because I nursed my first for 2 years. You just need to push through the pain, and nurse as much as you can on the affected area. I'd definately give it a shot.
