am I the only freak?

When I was 15 I had a birthmark/mole removed because we were concerned with some abnormal cell growth.... it turned out to be nothing and I was happy because I got teased horribly for it. But now I feel likei kind of dodged a bullet and i've become super anal about sun exposure. Now that I'm fine with... where I feel i've gone a little crazy is if I go out without sunscreen or a covering, I feel like I can literally feel my skin burning and I keep checking myself expecting to see blisters popping up on my skin. Definitely not normal  

I need a smurfing head shrink

I get super paranoid that I will become a leather face if I tan more than twice in one summer.

Nothing wrong with being sun smart!   even if you go a bit OTT over it lol.
Protecting yourself from skin cancer is sensible.
I don't go that far but I sunscreen my face everyday. Im paranoid about the sun givin me wrinkles. That's a bit crazy lol.

Im hispanic and burn every time I'm out in direct sunlight...seriously the palest hispanic EVER! >.< I got teased a lot in my family for it too haha "White girl" No offense to the actual white girls BWAHAHAH..in a hispanic family..i guess that the best they can come up with..that and the fact that i didn't talk like an illiterate ghetto hood rat on purpose. So SmUrf YEAH!

I legitimately feel like I'll get a 2nd degree burn if I have exposed skin.like it feels like my skin is blistering when I KNOW it's not really

I burn like a mofo... 

I don't have the same anxiety over it, but on days when the UV index is high, I can feel my skin burn. It's awful and it can happen in a matter of minutes.
