re: Cloth Diapers Rock, Bitches! Vol. 4

i just bought 2 large Thirsties diaper covers and 36 large Birdseye cotton flats. I'm hoping that and my 3 wool covers will be enough to get me thru 3 weeks. is there any thing else you ladys think i'll need?

I had family members actually taking bets on how long I'd last. Just over two years is how long I lasted. Would've been longer if my jerkface kid didn't potty train on me  

Has anyone used BumGenius?

A mum has offered to sell me 10-12 for $50 with day & night inserts..

I might try them instead of prefolds/covers until our CD's arrive from the US.

Im not sure which version, but if anyone has used them and can let me know what they're like i'd be really grateful.

I have a bunch of them. I like them. They aren't my favorite but I use them often for around the house. Although lately they smell when she uses them   But only this brand. I gotta figure that out. They are a tad bulky but really I don't mind them a bit.

How do you go about washing//drying pockets? We won't have our dryer for a few more days (just moved), but I'm so ready to try our cloth.. anyway to do it without a dryer?

Line dry   Lay flat. Don't have to have a dryer. Is your stuff new? If it needs a heat seal it could leak a bit until you throw in the dryer. But it might not.

Either hang dry or go to a laundry mat and use one

I just can't get anything done. I keep coming down with crud and it's knocking me on my ass. Last week I had body aches. This week it's an ears he and my throat feels swollen   the dipes are sitting on my ottoman not matches up or put away. I'm just exhausted. I never nap and I actually fell asleep today  

Jace's first cloth diaper! I'm in love. lol lets just hope it doesn't leak. Does it look like it's on correctly? I wasn't too sure what I was doing. lol
