My friend just receive some aalva baby diapers and she said they are leaking. I asked her if she prepped them and she said no so I told her to prep them and how to do it and she said they are still leaking. Any advice you ladies have this is her first time cloth diapering and I don't want her to get discouraged and give up

Did she buy them new or used? If she bought them used they may need to be stripped. She may need to double stuff her inserts for more absorbency if her baby is a heavy wetter

I'm going to write a blog post on FAQ cloth questions. Any suggestions on questions to answer? I'll do the typical ones, but I'd like to answer some that are harder to find.

Replacing elastic? I've seen some brands say they come with extra elastic but I have no idea how you'd go about changing it yourself. Idk, maybe that's dumb?

I checked about the surging with sabrina & she showed me pics etc compared to regular surger thread etc.

I'll still go with surged  .. i'll cross my fingers LO doesn't react - if he does then oh well, more squishies for me haha!!

Squishy Butt covers fit Millie as small as 6lbs 6oz. They go small. The same cover will fit Gavin at 40 lbs with room to grow.

Im thinking of trying out covers/prefolds for our next NB.. we'll see though, your fluff is a bit hard to resist and i can't really see myself limiting my stash to covers/prefolds even if they're only in them for a little while hahaha!!

We'll see
