re: Cloth Diapers Rock, Bitches! Vol. 4

posted 7th Feb
my poor diapers have been rode hard and hung up wet. But they're still kickin   I had a stash of 12 (yes   only 12) for months, until I traded one of my friends for 9 Squishy Butt AI2's. (yes.....those who know me...feel free to wrap your head around why I am trading someone else for 9 diapers I made over a year ago, lmao). Now that I have those 9, my stash almost doubled overnight and I'm happy that I have enough to not wash every other day.

Okay, so my 2 year old decided to have a growth spurt. He just barely fits his prefolds and flip covers. Not to mention the bummies I bought last year. Our new LO has inherited all of DS old diapers. My question is has anyone ever used cloth trainers. How is the fit? Do they leak? How do they work in general. TIA

Anyone used kissaluvs OS contour hybrid?
http://www.kissaluvs.com/hybrid_contours.php

They look decent & are so cheap!
Tempting!

Im thinking of getting a few as stash fillers if they'll ship to Australia for a decent price.

I use them, usually at night time under my wool. No complaints. I really like them.

Majority are bear monkey bottoms. I have 3 from a mom on here she made special so those fit good. And I have 3 that are nb size but still too big. I can use them if I have nothing though. Idk the bmb lady may have made them smaller for me cause of the preemie. And yeah he prolly does haha. She's about 6,8.

Oh im so glad to hear that haha!

They'd be ok to wear during the day without a cover if i added absorbency wouldn't they?

How do you fasten yours?..
Do you use a snappi?

That would probably work just fine. Yep, I use a snappi.

Damn it. We're using sponsors already cause Scarlett's butt is broken out. I'm washing my dipes and smearing her butt with cream in the meantime. I'm sure it's cause she pees like every 5 mins. I'm going through like 15 dipes a day so I'm changing her often. But I let her go dipe free last night and she peed on me 5 times in at least 30 mins   Wtf do I do now?

I have a few. They're bulky and I don't like the way the fabric feels. But no problems with absorbancy or anything, they're just not my go-to.

I've decided to go with the Kissaluvs fitted V2.0 in natural & coloured.

The contour kissaluvs was $15, by the time i added a snappi that was an extra $3.75 and i realised i could just buy the fitted for $18-$19.50 and it had the new added absorbency and back elastic.

I'll give them a go  .. cheap enough for stash fillers!

Before i go and buy the kissaluvs v2.0 fitted..

it says it has a fold down rise now in the m/l size... does that mean i'll have something to secure the snaps to if i fold it down or do i need to use a snappi?

I thought most fold-down rise used snaps. Do you have a link? I'll look.

There are snaps on both sides for if you fold it down and for when you don't.
