How much soap are you using?

I have an HE washer. I've used all different amounts, from 1/4th recommended for HE up to the recommended amount. Ive used several soaps, too. I think it's the god damned HE washer.

Nope.m I've been adding water and the machine drains it right out once the level reaches a certain point. It won't even cover the diapers. It also doesn't have a 'hot' setting, just warm.

Wow, that's a useless washer! Try rinsing them in cold water so they are soggy before putting them in the washer.

Think Charlie Banana and Fuzzibunz. Basically, a company that retailed AMPs decided to "design" a brand new diaper and call it Applecheeks. In the Duo sized diapers, essentially the ONLY difference is the placement in the flap for the insert. A lot of people say that the AMPs tend to fit their chunky babies better though.

It could be the soap. You use Eco's, right? What type of water do you have?

You need to trick it into thinking there is a full load. Your HE waser has a brain, and it will laugh at you until you successfully trick it and the ONLY way to do that is by tricking it into thinking you have a full load. Do a rinse without spin before you do your actual wash. It'll leave the diapers sopping wet and the machine will register it as full.

My kids have huge butts lol. I was blessed in that department. Now I'm thinking they won't be necessary

I do a soak without spin first. And I checked, it has a hot/cold option. Does that count as to? Lol. I do a soak with vinegar, wash with ecos, another wash, sometimes ANOTHER wash, then a wash with no soap to rinse.

Yeah, hot/cold is hot wash with cold rinse. You could be using too much soap. Try skipping the soak with vinegar. Try this. Warm rinse, warm rinse no spin. Wash on hot/cold option with soap. Then a warm wash with vinegar. Then rinse and rinse.

Alright, I'll give it a shot. Even the new qq inserts stink. And they have only been used a max of three times.
