My SIL told FIL that I was planning on using cloth diapers so tonight when we came over he questioned me on prices & details. After I told him that the ones I was buying were between $4-6 he looked at me & said 'Oh well then I guess we're gonna be sticking to the cheap disposable ones.' He acts like because he doesn't agree with it that its not going to happen. Have any of you had this issue? He tries to override everything I say when it comes to DS sometimes. Like with DS's carseat. The safety manuel says that his shoulder straps should start at or below his shoulders. Well they do. But apparently that's wrong because he would be more 'comfortable' looking with the straps going through the top slot... he even threw a mini fit because I was wearing DS around his house. DS is supposedly going to smother in my sash mei tai -.- he holds his head up & looks around... I just want some respect for my decisions because every single one I make for DS is truly with his best interests in mind.

hehe, next time   I got b9 and I LOVE it. But I love the b6 too. It's a gorgeous blue.

*hugs* I am so sorry   I take it you are having to live with him right now. That has to be so hard. Normally I'd say eff em and ignore it, though when they are around 99% of the time that's easier said than done. Keep your head up, and remember you are doing the best for him, no matter what anyone says.

The sad part is we don't live with him & he still thinks he should have that much say in what I do for DS. We usually see him every Sunday though. Its murder! But SO really wants to have a good relationship with him so I am trying to stay polite & civil for the most part

The JCTrade? I don't know if you ordered from the QQBaby one, but she sent mine to me Tuesday and her damn PO help them all week. The didn't leave the PO til Saturday. I'm hoping that doesn't happen with the JCTrade diapers. It isn't Cynthia's fault though, and she felt so bad

Stick to your guns! My family hates cloth diapers, except my grandma, sort of. But I don't care. Where in AL are you?

I would love to have Fiona back in a 5 point harness, not sure how she would feel being the only first grader in a "baby seat" though, lol.

From what I can see in the parking lot every afternoon, very few lo's are still rear facing and barely any have booster seats in their cars :/
