I can't stand the pushy anti-circ people, especially when you can't state a positive to circ without them calling you all sorts of names and that you're stupid. No, I'm clearly not stupid, have done research, and with my background have a completely different view and also recognize that a lot of anti-circ groups also provide false information to promote their viewpoints. I don't care if you want to leave your son intact, but at least due me the courtesy if not harassing me with lies! I feel the same way with the anti-vax crowd since most information that's shouted at me is not science-based and some of what is actually scientific information is not appropriate to the vaccine as in the ingredient may be a form of some particular "toxin" but the ones used are not the toxic kind and do not behave or share the same properties because it's a different ingredient. I don't need to be told repeatedly that I'm poisoning and making my kids retarded because I chose to vaccinate based on the available information and my view that the benefits outweigh the risks. My educated decisions, my choices for my children.

And yeah, I don't want it all over my FB either. It annoys the crap out of me!

I try to avoid the car seat subject altogether. I don't ERF and any mention of it is met with rabid ERF fanatics harassing me about it and how I don't love my kids. Hey, I've thought about it, read up on it, made the decision that worked best for us. Doesn't mean I hate my kids. LOL

I don't care if someone doesn't ERF as long as the follow the law. There's no reason for a 6 month old to be FFing in a booster seat, kwim?

Exactly! Our laws here aren't particularly strict aside from the 20 pounds and 1 year to forward face and that they must be in some form of booster until 4'9". The car seat safety place said to go into a high back booster was an age or height or weight thing as those are more dependent on proper fit for height. I know my 21-month-old was 36" at 18 months and perfectly fitting the last setting on his convertible right now and will probably go into a harnessed booster next. I know he's already tall enough for most of them, but I'm not going to switch until I have to.

Personally, my kids can bitch and moan all they want. Unless they're physically ill from being rear facing, they will stay rear facing. What others do is their thing. Does it mean I won't cringe? No lol. But am I going to tell someone who's kid is 1 AND 20 lbs they better ERF? No.. But you can bet your smurf I will tell someone whose kid doesn't meet the legal requirements that they should still be rear facing their kids. BUT the people that DON'T want to ERF better give me the same respect.

I had a friend that put her 2 year old in just a no back belt positioning booster. UGH killed me every time I got in their car, and that was before I even knew car seat safety lol
