This, or just wash them on extra hot. That's what I always did. I just used prefolds so I could wash on extra hot or boil.

I have some flats and covers I can use. So I can just use the diaper cream and Vaseline with the flats and boil the flats to clean them?

Yep. Or just wash in the washer. Whenever I would do it, I'd wash with dawn on extra hot water. Just the flats though, not the covers.

I did a fabric co-op once. I charged a 50 cent fee per piece of fabric a person bought because I had to measure and cut it, which took time. Nobody complained or thought it was unreasonable and so many people ordered I ended with around $700 in "fees" but it also took nearly 3 weeks to get it all cut and ready to be mailed.

I am talking that for 1 or 2 items. I saw one once it was for some baby carrier and they were charging $10 PER ITEM. That, is insane. And people were more than wiling to pay it. More power to them lol

I couldn't believe it, one time I saw a coop doing an order for udder covers, slings and car seat canopies... ummm... Those are all things you can get for "free"with a promo code... And the prices were not that good. I couldn't believe people actually ordered... Ignorance is bliss I guess...

You have to think about it though... all 3 of those are 'free' but you still pay anywhere from $12-20 for them to be shipped separately. If you bought them at a co-op for cheap each, you'd probably be paying less than the shipping for all 3 put together & you would get all 3 at the same time

Personally, I wouldn't. I don't "hate" my front loaders, but I sure do wish DH would let me sell mine and buy an old traditional top loader again.

what about if I wanted to buy a newer one? are new top loaders still good?

haha. I didn't know there was a difference besides where you load them.
