No doubt. Lots of ladies have good experiences, Rachel seems to get hers from China to OK within days of ordering, but mine always takes weeks on end, and then lost for a month or two before showing up, IF they ever do.

Is that not a good price?

Ok ladies I want to clean my diapers soon.

They are all pre-owned, but I know I need to clean my washer first since I was a HEAVY fabric softener user. I've read something about vingar and bleach on a hot wash? I have a regular top loader.

And for my pre-owned dipes I have
12 GMD pf
1 BG pocket
1BG NB AIO
1 Sunbaby
5 DG Alvas
2 charcoal baamboo inserts
2 hemp inserts
1 bamboo/micrfiber blend
2 snap thirsties covers
1 velcro thirsties cover
1 NB Rumparooz
1 Flip

Do I just wash/dry one time? Or do I need to prep?

Dont bleach them. Vinegar maybe for a sanitizer. But if they're used they should be ready to go.

I would strip your machine with TTO. TTO is VERY effective in doing so, but it does take a good day. And if they are pre owned, just a wash is fine. However, I always stripped new used diapers if I didn't know the source.

Tea Tree Oil? What exactly do I do?

And what stripping routine do you use? They were all bought online/craigslist so I do want to wash then first.

Also I use dryer sheets, do I need to clean my dryer?

For your machine, drop a few drops everywhere. Do not do more than 5 drops though. Do a drop in the tub, then in each compartment. Then do a heavy wash cycle with nothing in it. Then rinse until you smell nothing. Most likely you will smell a cross between a wet dog and skunk and dead fish at some point. If you do, no worries, it's working. Just keep rinsing until it's gone. As far as stripping diapers, I stick with the method in the OP. Lots of people use dawn, and I use it in a pinch, but the only time I have found it to work as good as the strip method in the OP was when I had to remove oily diaper cream.

Oh, and dryer, I am not sure. To be on the safe side I would just clean the inside of it with vinegar.

I sometimes use dryer sheets on my regular laundry and have never had an issue.

Any suggestions on how to prep new bamboo diapers? I heard they often need more washes than other fabrics to absorb properly. The covers are minky outer and bamboo inner and they have bamboo inserts. I have a front load HE washer. Also should I dry between washes or just wash, wash, wash until they are ready then dry once?

I was pissed that I only saved $1 with all that trouble. I just though I was expecting to much. Good to know I wasn't irritated without cause.

I've never had an issue ordering directly from Alva.
