I thought so but you know I'm a newb lol. I initially only wanted the prefolds, cover, and doublers. zbut I saw the moby and just couldn't resist. I've heard great things about them and since it will just be me and baby at home for a while $20 wouldn't kill me.

$20 is a good price for one. Just keep in mind no back carries and once baby hits like 15/20lbs its not going to be as comfortable (will sag with the higher weight so more adjusting, amd the stretch makes them not as supportive when babe is heavier so it's easier for them to pop their seat or slip out). But they're absolutely wonderful the first few months.

After I send my cloth diaper rental back I'm going to use my store credit to get back to get a giraffe print Mei Tai. =). I just needed something to hold me over until then.

You can also sell your Moby when you're done with it. As long as it's still in good condition you can easily make your $20 back.

Awesome. the one i got seems brand new but the lady said sge used it heavily. They must hold up very well.

And snaps vs Aplix

IMO Thirsties are fine, but I really like the Flips! My LO still uses them at 14 months. Also snaps tends to hold up better in the long run although there are definitely reasons to use aplix... easier aka more like a disposable, wiggly babies, etc.

As far as how many covers I usually use 1 cover for ~3 wet diapers. If he poops then I change the cover so maybe 10?

I'm thinking they will be 13-14 each but the inserts to the nb hybrid can be used till the baby potty trains as boosters for the OS hybrid inserts.

I had a few NB covers and the rest were OS. I had 3 nb and 4 OS. Snaps, though. i don't like how short lived the aplix is and it eats away at other diapers. I'd use flip covers before I use thirsties because I've seen what a years worth of use does to thirsties and flips, and the flips weather the storm way better.

what brand were your OS covers? I have a few sweetpeas, but I'm a little worried they won't fit DD when she's a newborn.

I have 1 NB rumparooz
3 size 1 thirsties (2 snap, 1 aplix)
1 Flip (snap)
1 Blueberry

So I will try and get at least 3 more Flips and trying to tell myself I don't NEED the monster print from Blueberry lol since all my covers wer bought EUC or NWOT.

Thank mama. I guess I need more Flips. I bought my Flip as a second so now paying more than $7 seems ridiculous lol
