Quoting Otaytaytay:" I have Grandma Els as my samples.. I just was LTB from a store instead of having to go through a website ... [snip!] ... clothes which says its safe but i'm trying to find a cloth safe deteregent meant for clothes as well if that makes sense lol"
I used to wash with my regular clothes, but you have to make sure and pull them out before everything goes into the dryer, and rinse a bit extra. Thats why I always suggest for people who use laundromats to use prefolds or flats, or hybrids with the detachable insert that can be boiled, as it will cut down on your laundry bill. You can wash with your regular clothes if you HAVE to, but then you can boil the soakers on the side to get the rest of the soap out. Even if you use cloth safe detergent, you still want to rinse a few extra times after it's wash, which you don't do with the clothes, since it's okay if they have a little buildup, they won't hurt you.
Target has the California baby stuff, but you can also go to a local health food store and look for raw virgin coconut oil, unrefined. It works great too.
