Both. The better you rinse the cleaner the diapers will be and less likely detergent build-up will be.

What's the best way to ship a cover? I have a OS I'm trying to sell, and I'm about to list two newborn covers. They'd only be like an ounce, right? If I use a small flat rate envelope, it'd be 4.90 online, and if I'm selling one for 9ppd, I'd have very little profit from it. :/ I don't want to list it for 9 +shipping, because you can get a brand spanking new one for 10, with free shipping.... blah.

Shove it in a normal brown envelope or a poly mailer, around $2 to ship at most.

Thanks! I knew there was a simpler option. Does the post office have those sitting there or do I need to order them?

How do you ladies like the charcoal lined or charcoal inserts?
Is it just to help not show stains?
Do they bleed in the wash?

I've never tried them, but L&J just got some and she said they're amazing. I have regular bamboo inserts that I really like. I like them so much I'm getting rid of most of my MF and switching to mostly bamboo. I also have a charcoal lined diaper, and this kid has pooped every time it touches her butt and there are no stains. I'm not sure if it has any other benefits over regular bamboo.

As far as I have found in researching, it is regular bamboo, just a charcoal color, and I guess it's a heavier weight fleece than the usual bamboo fleece used so it absorbs a little more.

Reason number one why I am glad we have cloth diapers...
I have washed over a dozen diapers everyday this week. And Beckham doesn't even have enough to cloth half the day (he has four right now), so that doesn't include the disposables we use.

I don't like paying so much for Rockin' Green soap and someone I know makes their detergent and is willing to sell it. Can anyone tell me if this is CD safe??
Ingredients: Borax, Washing Soda, Dawn dish soap, Fels Naptha or Zote bar soap, OxyClean.
I'm sure it'd be cheaper to just make my own than what she's charging for it but it's still WAY cheaper than RG and I don't have to do the work lol!
