Message her again. I won't elaborate, but she really is going through a REALLY, I mean REALLY rough time right now. Chances are her brain is more frazzled than mine, so she needs constant reminders. Speaking of her, and my frazzled brain and missing items, I need to mail her back a gorilla that escaped into my package that I keep forgetting about   Email her again. Then every day til she sends them lol. That's what I'd do.

I messaged her on Friday & on Monday, no response. I just think it shouldn't think months to get them sent out... wtf. I'm glad to hear she is going through a rough time though & not just being flaky. So you think she will send my stuff out & not just blow it off?

I don't think so, I know that is absolutely not her intentions. I know my forgetfullness, I was supposed to send Rachel out a diaper months ago, completely forgot about it, until I ran across it earlier tonight. Then that gorilla, I spoke to Tracey about it before Christmas, and I just remembered   My memory is awful, I couldn't imagine going through what she is on top of that. So, just keep messaging her every day lol

You guys are the reason I won't do a Co-op. So many horror stories ! It seems like it takes you guys forever to get your stuff, if you get it at all! I'll stick to Moses or ordering direct !

Has anybody here used the Gerber prefolds?? I'm having an ammonium build up problem. I've tried baking soda, vinegar, boiling them. Nothing works. I've also recently bought some unbleached Indian prefolds size premium. And so far they are working just fine no stinkies. They are just too big lol. Should i even bother trying to strip them again (the gerbers) or just use then for something else?.


This is out of topic. But i was washing myIndian prefolds by hand with the bum genious detergent (i have very soft water) and i used two tablespoons of detergent and omg they were so sticky. I literally was stuck rinsing them by hand and machine all flipping day! It was soo hard to get the soap out.   crazy water. Ugh makes cloth diapering soo smurfing hard!

I trust Cynthia and her co-op. I ordered from another woman in her group, too, and she seems like a really nice woman. Not everyone who had been invoiced had payed yet, but she wanted to get the order placed monday so she did it out of her own pocket.

Rockin' Green makes a detergent specifically for soft water. I'd try that, and maybe wash your stinky diapers in it, see if that helps with the ammonia?

That actually does. It just seems kinda wasteful when I know pockets/prefolds are cheaper. But the convienence factor is creeping in lol

Any of you ladies use a sling? Any suggestions on a good one?

Yeah the one I was told is good, is still dicking with me almost 2 months later.

lol There are a few that are amazing. Bubba and the Bean, Baby Bum Wrap and Sarah's are the ones I order from most. Oh and Frugal one. And of course my own lol

Throw the gerbers out. Wait, no. Keep them for cleaning towels. And, try using less soap. I like the BG soap.
