Alva and JCTrade diapers look exactly the same in pictures. They even have some of the same prints...? Is one better?

IMO they are the same. They fit the exact same for us and yes, have some of the same prints.

Hahah I do that too. Brooklyn gets a rash when she's cutting teeth too. I think her poop is more acidic like Moses said.

Hi ladies.   I have a stupid question. My daughter has, what appears to be, a yeast rash in her armpit. Could this mean she has yeast in her diaper area? Should I wash her diapers differently because of this?

For me they fit a tad bigger than Alvas. I love them but still prefer Alva over them.

I would throw vinegar in just to be on the safe side   Do half a cup in the rinse. You can also sun them to be double protected. It could spread to her diaper area, but if it isn't there now it probably won't.

You can sun them even in cloudy conditions   It's just the UV rays that is needed. Granted, there won't be as much, but still some.

They have some cute prints, but I'd hate to have to go through the whole co-op thing so I guess I'll stick with alva. Although a b/s/t group just for jctrade opened up on facebook, I might snag some from there if I really like the print.

My daughter already barely fits in most OS diapers. She's on the smallest rise setting and the smallest snap setting on most(unless they overlap.) She's a skinny thing. I guess she didn't get my butt.

I get so frustrated with cloth diapering sometimes. The whole point of it is because I can't find work so my family is basically buying everything for DD. I do odd jobs when I can and spend everything on her, but the bulk of it my grandma pays for, or occasionally my mom. And everyone gets so pissed off when I try a new diaper and it doesn't work. They're this close I-I to telling me I can't CD anymore. Gr. It doesn't help my PPD, that's for sure. Anyone else have an supportive family?

A supportive family? Yes my mom is wonderful. She's helping me make diapers because I can see but I get a little wild on the sewig machine haha.

I ordered my Alvas on the 19th and they came today! Along with a wetbag and some inserts, not from the Alva site.
