Quoting Freya Dunlap:" thanks. what kind of wool yarn should be used to make them?"
Quoting Freya Dunlap:" thanks. what kind of wool yarn should be used to make them?"I use any 100% wool yarn that isn't scratchy on my face.
Quoting Mother of Broccoli.:" Are they all receiving blankets? I loved using flats, but B outgrew all the ones we had Next kid is gonna be in flats and prefolds. Nice and cheap "All of those are. I have a few that aren't, but they're ugly and thinner, so they don't work as well. Now they're burp cloths. I prefer flats over pockets, I probably only paid 40ish dollars for all the ones I have. TJ Maxx usually has them in packs of 4 for 5$ or 5 for 6$, and I got a bunch at my baby shower. Folding them sucks though. I toss them in the dryer for a few minutes after line drying to soften them up, then I fold them. Takes forever and sometimes I have to de-wrinkle them again halfway through or they won't fold right. I prefer to have them all folded and ready to go, or DD squirms away without a diaper while I'm folding

Quoting Mother of Broccoli.:" Yeah folding is a pain in the ass. I always folded ours right after they came out of the dryer and they took forever! I love how trim flats are, too. And you got some great deals on your stash "My mom always complains about how bulky pockets are, but how difficult flats are. Can't please that woman, lol. And hell yeah I did If you include the new stuff I just bought, I've spent under 250 on my stash. Way cheaper than sposies, we spent 100 a month at LEAST before we switched.

Quoting Mother of Broccoli.:" Nice! I don't even wanna think how much I've spent so far Flats are a very economical way to go "I could have easily spent way more, if I had the money to. I justify buying new ones by saying they double as pants

Quoting Mother of Broccoli.:" I'm not sure, as I cannot knit I have only upcycled wool sweaters into soakers lol. "
Quoting Freya Dunlap:" nether can i. i'm hoping crocheting will work"
